Melissa Lee-Houghton is a poet, essayist and fiction writer living in Lancashire. Her third poetry collection, Sunshine, is to be published by Penned in the Margins in September. A book of essays on mental health, An Insight Into Mental Health In Britain: Five Essays, will be published by Eyewear Publishing this year. Her work has appeared most recently in The Rialto, Poetry Wales and Best British Poetry 2015 and is forthcoming in Granta, with a dystopian story to be broadcast on BBC Radio Four in June 2016. She teaches for The Poetry School and was selected as a Next Generation Poet.
